Wendy Digel has lived in Atlanta, Georgia, since she was a young child and has always considered it home. She currently resides in Decatur with her husband and two kittens.

Art is and always has been at the center of everything she does. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Ringling College of Art and Design as a Fine Arts major. After college, she spent a few years doing graphic design work, but tired of working on a computer in an office all day. So in 1999, she began a career as a faux finisher. After working at a larger, production-based company, she came to work in 2005 for Kathy Anders at This Faux House Designs, Inc. The company’s focus was geared toward innovative and creative finishes because Kathy not only sold products to the trade, but offered classes as well.

As of 2011, Wendy is the owner of This Faux House. She will continue to offer the highest quality of work to current and future customers. She looks forward to the coming years and the opportunities they offer.
